So what the trick to installing the push-loc hose ends? What kind of lube do you use? I can get it almost all the way in but cabn't get it to go the last 3/16" or so....bought the stuff thinking it would be weasy than braided, unless I am missing something with getting the hose ends on correctly I will stick to braided in the future...

Ok, I'm going to get teased for this answer. I use vasoline. Somtimes I'll use my heat gun to soften the line up a little before I press it on the fitting.

I use trans fluid and brute strength...sometimes put a block of wood down and push against it from on top.

Hi, while this may seem silly...while trying to asseble fragola -6 hose I found the only thing that worked was...stick the hose in boiling water for a min or two and lube the fitting with dish soap....take the hose out of the boiling water and instantly push it on the fitting and dont stop!! I tried oils, grease, my heat gun etc etc and that trick worked the best for me time after time....Good luck!!

You guys afraid of a little hard work? I don't workout for a week after assembling a bunch of those hoses...lol
But you can be sure I'll be trying those tricks the next time! haha

Carb Cleaner in the hose and on the fittings. It drys quick and no need to wash out the hoses later.
