Spray against the trans brake???

Is it ok to spray against the brake? I have done it a few times by mistake, and I had the best 60ft's I have ever had. I was just wondering if doing this hurts anything?

There is a thread on this in Hutch's transmission area from a few months ago, do a search. It's not a good thing to do.
