Flash cards ?

Do flash cards make a differance in how pics turn out? I know there's a differance in storage capacity but what about the end result?
I was lookin the other day and there's cards that are $30 and there's cards that are $130. Why?

No difference. The more costly ones write your data to the card faster. That $30 will slow your camera down, and it will not download to your computer very fast either. I only use Sandisk Extreme III's, and IV's.

Click the drop down menu and pick your camera. The fastest cards will be at the top, buy the fastest you can afford. For one of my cameras the mkIIN, Sandisk is the fastest, that's why I use them, and they are cheap.

wow i just ordered 4 scandisk 512 cards for $16 on e-bay.
Now he says he's out of them till next week will i take 2 highspeed cards instead or 2 1g cards whats better??

512 is way, way to small. I only use 4GB and 8GB cards. With a 4GB card I can get over 500 RAW files on it with the mkIIN, and just short of 400 RAW files with the 40D.

$70 is cheap, plus a $20 rebate. Waitng for the rebate sucks though.

I dont take that many pics, then i put them on the puter. whats the better deal?

I would buy the 1GB cards, if they are indeed fast cards. 512 is still just way too small.
