I saw the answer to this question a while ago, and forgot what it was. I was trying to shoot some sunset pics, and got the sun spot elsewhere in the pic. I guess its a double image of the sun. I've also shot some moon pics and had the same thing happen. How can this be eliminated. TIA

is it lens flaring? post up a shot with the problem.

Definitely lens flare. Light is reflecting off of the internal surfaces of the lens. Not really a lot you can do about it, other than get a better lens, which will reduce (but not totally eliminate) the effect.

Yep it's lens flare. I'd seen something posted on here before, but couldn't remember the solution for it...Thanks for the answers...
