to the import market? I look around the house and notice almost everything is either made somewhere besides the USA or was only assembled here! There isn't much choice to buy electronics that aren't made overseas or Mexico... Companies used to take pride to print "100% MADE IN USA" only years ago. That label is no longer something of pride for most companies as they have shipped every frigen thing overseas!! Will jobs and products ever come back to this country once they have left? I think not!!!!

I look around my parts dept. of Ford parts. Hardly any are made in the USA. Spain, Protugal, you name it. Ford even called our products world cars since they are made with parts for all over the world. I bought a Schwinn bike back in the 70's. Only the frame was made in the USA. Jap tires and brakes, French gears. WTF!!! :x

My Father was in the steel workers union. He used to ask for store mgrs. and flip out on them because they were selling Jap junk. He was in WWII also, so that went right up his ass.

I was in North Dakota on Business a couple of years ago & broke my belt (yea, the one that holds my fat gut in). I went to the Mall to see about picking one up. I found a cowboy store (hats, boots, belts, etc) & asked about belts. they had a BUNCH of $6.00 Belts. what do you know, they were all made in China. I asked Billy Bob, if they had any belts that were made in the USA & he said
Yea, but there kinda expensive
I told him I did not care, I wanted to buy a good belt made in the USA. Needless to say, I ended up spending $25.00 for a belt. It made Billy Bob's day, (I guess he needed the sales), but you could see he was confused. Some folks just dont get it. I sleep well @ night.

Bob is it better to buy one belt for $25.00 that lastest 10 years or a $6.00 that lasts 1 year? Very sad when you are standing on US soil and have to ask for a product that was made in a place you are standing!! Do you think the Japs have to ask "is this made in Japan" when buying something in Japan? Very Very Very sad...
