Battery charger! (or extra battery) I was recently in Utah shooting MDRS at 5:00 am, shooting some great starry sky night shots, when the camera tells me "Battery done"! Arrrgh - Knew I forgot something!

Ha, no kidding, or, enough electronic film... I have been shooting digital for enough years now that you would think I would automatically PACK my CF cards, but I will admit that there has been at least one occasion where I have forgot! DOH!

word on the batteries. when I first bought my camera I only had the one that came with it. Now I have two camera batteries, and three batteries for the video camera

not a must have, but one of those small rubber dust blowers can be handy on the line.

If i'm going out for birds or scenics I usually take just what I need. But, if i go to the track I take it all. Everything I need is in the bag except charger (wich i take out of town) . The bag is HUGE and heavy, it almost doesn't fit on the passenger seat. That's why I have a van. Quad, ladder, tripod ,towels,cooler,everything but the kitchen sink. I don't leave home or go to far without it all.
