My 11yr old son kills his first deer

Cade and I were in the stand just before five when what we thought was a pretty nice doe walked out. Cade placed a great shot and drop him in his tracks. It turned out to be a buck that had lost his antlers. He was more than likely a spike. The owner of the processor said he had killed three just like this this year. We had to bloody his face and make him watch us field dress it. He's stoked and ready to go back. I hope we can go one more time before the season ends on the 31st.

sweet....the best thing you can teach a child.....I took my neice several times this year....she is 4 and loves it

This was the first time he kinda went camping too. We had a cabin to sleep in but it was over 100yrs old and had a out house and no running water and only generator power. He had a blast.
