What’s the best place to unload some old 35mm film stuff?
I’ve got an old Pentax K1000 with some extra lenses and flashes and a Cannon rebel thingy that I know I’m never going to use either again…

I realize it ain't worth nothing, but the stuff is just in the way I'd rather get it to someone that's going to use it at least.

if you have the right pentax glass, it can be worth some $$$, because every pentax lense that has ever been made will work on the new pentax dslr bodies... even the old m42 screw-mount takumar glass will fit the new pentax bodies, and in fact, there is an m42 adapter to bolt takumar glass up to the latest canon bodies... takumars were/are world-class lenses.
you probably don't want to mess around with all that, so check out the for sale forum at pentaxforums.com, if you search past sales for your exact lenses, you'll get an idea of what they are worth... i don't imagine that the film body will be worth anything.
if you just want to donate the glass to a good cause, i'll pm you my mailing address :-)

You can try B&H Photo, they should be able to point you in the right direction. Click here Used Camera Equipment (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/?O=home&A=getpage&Q=uq_addProduct.jsp)

That's a good idea! A Pentax K1000 is what I used in High-school.

I am in the same spot as you. I have a pile of manual Nikon film equipment. I will probably try fleaBay.
