Radial Roll Call May 10th

With the extra race added in for the DR Outlaw Series May 8-9 in Valdosta, I am wondering who is still planning on attending our OSM opening event on the 10th. I can certainly understand the draw to Valdosta money wise. What I dont want to see happen is one or two cars showing for my event so im looking for racers who are intent on coming. I would like to see at least 6 cars. If this other event is going to be a conflict, I am considering postponing the DR classes start until our next race in June. So please be honest and let me know if you plan on attending. Im not saying I wont have the class, just need input so I can make the appropriate plans. I would hate to announce that this class will be at our event and not have anyone show. Doesnt look good to fans or sponsors. Thank you!

Based on everyone ive spoken to to date, there has been almost 20 cars that say they will show. Now, it would be GREAT if that were a consistant count at every event haha but id really be happy with 10 or more per event.

What time of the day do the races start and when are they usually over? Looks like an interesting series.

Previously we ran on saturdays but unfortunately couldnt get a rental for that day so now we are on sundays. I havent made a decision on start time but we have the track from 8:30-5 so i will probably open the gates at 9 :)

Nope!! Not yet. Wife is being tight right now. I could pick up my motor next week if she would release a little money my way. :( No rush here because it was -10 degrees outside this morning. My motor builder just mocked everything up yesterday and everything looks good. Assembly is this week. Maybe dyno next week. Do you have yours ready? I'll have to take a better look at it this time. Nice to see some fast G-bodies out there. :)

It's warming up here a bit now. Was 24 and in the single digits at night but it's up to 50 today. If it stays warm I'll get the motor out this week so I can go over everything to make sure it's ready. I got a head headgasket at the last race so as long as nothing is hurt, I'll put the new gaskets on and it'll be ready. I wanted to move up to a PT3000 cooler and move it to the trunk but the car works real well with the 94mm and small cooler. Most of my racing is ORSCA rules rather than the outlaw radial so I doubt I'll spend the $$ right now.

Look forward to racing with you guys though.
