"ELECTRONICS
20. Bracket Racing Aids: NO Throttle stops No Electric shifters Optical sensors. . NO DELAY BOXES OR OTHER DRIVER AIDED ELECTRONICS. "

Just to make sure, are transbrakes and 2 steps allowed?

I never will understand how nitrous timers and turbo controllers get past that rule.

7531 box??

my point exactly "no electronics".

it controls the ET ;

I'll bet if all the cars were NA to begin with the first turbo or spray car to attempt any of the controllers would have the entire class screaming .

so I guess I can use traction control and not break any rules

you can use anything you want, just don't get caught!! but i think atco's point with the no electronics is they want to try to eliminate the full out bracket cars in the class. they like the street appearing cars. i don't see where a delay box will really help any since you are both leaving the same time off a pro tree. the throttle stop's though could help out alot.

the only possible thing a delay box could do in index is to keep you from going red if the car let that hard

the only thing that would come of banning the eletriconics you speak of would be a crash em' up derby or no 8.50 index
When they speak there talking about throttle stops, delay boxes, and that thing the dirty dozen had LOL.

No it would make people think harder and learn to run their car withen the rules. We raced for years without all of these helps.

Nitrous guys could just change their jetting, turbo and blower guys could just run less boost and timing, naturally aspirated could just run less timing or throttle opening. How would that be a smash up derby?????

The *matty box* is a whole nother can of worms.

to me anything that contols the car other than aded weight or your foot should be banned
